Ellembele Premier league launched successfully

Something incredible is about to happen in Nzema to shape football by creating the platform to help unearth football talents in that part of the country, with the launch of what is called Ellembelle Premier League.

"The historic competition will feature 12 communities who have excelled through their district various competitions like Ellembelle MP’s Cup, WEISFA Cup, Ramadan Cup, Comrade Cup, EDFA Division 3 and annual Kundum Cup. The Communities include, Anokyi United, Teleku Bokazo, Esiama, Kikam, Asanda, Asasastre, Nkroful, Kamgbunli, Atuabo and Awiebo/ Menzizor.

Accordign to Nzema Today, the Ellembelle Premier League will run over a period of ten (10) weeks until the ultimate winner is determined.

"The competition is designed to run for 10 weeks with the 11th week to be decided for the major final," Nzema Today wrote on his Facebook wall.

The main Sponsor, Hon Bonzo Ewereko explained the reasons behind the historic event and tagged it as a platform to foster unity and discover talents.

"The EPL has come to stay, this platform will discover the true talents and I believe we will have a very competitive competition, the winner of the league will take home GHC10,000, runners up GHC5,000 and the third place GHC2,500.00″, he revealed.

The EPL is expected to cover for three months from October and ends in December 2025.
