A bold move against Galamsey; Dormaahene leads raids on galamsey sites
Dormaa-Akwamu witnessed a strong anti-galamsey operation today as Dormaahene Osaagyefo Oseadeeyo Dr. Agyemang Badu II, alongside the Dormaa anti-galamsey task force and chiefs, moved decisively against illegal miners.
Three suspects were arrested, and seven water pumping machines used for galamsey were seized during raids at Akontanim and Kobedi. The seized equipment and suspects have been handed over to the Ghana Police Service.
