The road construction will also feature the dualization of the Anyrawase - Ho UHAS bypass - Titrinu (km 49.4 - 70.0) and the almost eight (7.7) kilometers Ho Guinness Depot-Ho airport.

The contract has been awarded to Messrs. First sky limited by the John Mahama government through the Ministry of Roads and Highways, with Ghana Highway Authority as the implementing agency.

According to a signpost sighted along the road, announcing the commencement of the project, the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Highway Authority, Surveyor Mallam Issah Ishak

Per the information available on the signpost, the source of funding is the government of Ghana through the John Mahama-led NDC government's flagship policy, The BIG PUSH.

Already, some indigenes of the Volta Region have have hailed this intervention by the government, after sustained advocacy.

"Dear Lord, our advocacy and campaign to have some major roads in Volta fixed some years ago is about to materialize. May history be kind to us and all those who devoted time to that project.
